Searching for full text articles & Databases

There are three ways to search for electronic journal articles at the Tyndale libraries. 

  1. WorldCat
  2. Articles Databases
  3. Google Scholar

Finding electronic articles through Tyndale WorldCat:

  1. Go to the Tyndale Library website: www.tyndale.ca/library
  2. Enter your search term(s) into the search box
  3. Click on the Search the Catalog button
  4. In the search results check off Article box on the left-hand side of the page

Finding electronic articles through the articles databases:

To access a full listing of journals databases, please visit the Online Resources page on the Tyndale Library website.

  1. Go to the Tyndale Library website: www.tyndale.ca/library
  2. Click on the Online Resources tab 
  3. Click on the All Online Resources link in the Other Online Resources tab to access the directory

Finding electronic articles using Google Scholar:

To search for articles at the Tyndale Libraries using Google Scholar, take the following steps:

  1. Go to Google Scholar: http://scholar.google.ca
  2. Click on the Settings link
  3. Click on the Library Links link on the left-hand side of the page
  4. Enter Tyndale University into the search engine
  5. Check off Tyndale University in the search results
  6. Click the Save button

Google Scholar will now advise you which items in the search results are available at the Tyndale libraries.
