Finding print books on the Tyndale WorldCat

In this section we will look at how to find printed books at the Tyndale libraries through the Tyndale WorldCat:

  1. Search for the item in the Tyndale WorldCat
    Note: See Basic Search and/or Advanced Search for details
  2. In your Search Results check the Book box under Format
    Note: this will limit your search to books only. For more information on limits see section on Sorting / Limiting Results
  3. Click on the Title in the Results List
  4. Scroll down to the Find a copy in the library box and make note of the following:

    * Location
    * Status
    * Call number

Location of the book:

  1. Main Library
  2. ABBA Resource Centre
  3. Library Use Only - Circulation Desk

Click on the Editions and formats >> link beneath a record to see if that title is available in eBook format.

The Editions and formats >> link will also advise you if there are other editions of the item available through the Tyndale Libraries.

Find electronic books

The Tyndale Library system has a growing collection of electronic books (e-books) that registered library users may access on and off of campus. Some of these resources contain  background material that could be used when introducing the topic of your lesson. While the ebooks are available in WorldCat you may wish to search the individual databases below.
