A guide to resources for B.Ed teacher candidates

Searching the Tyndale library collections

You can now use WorldCat to search for Education-related materials at the Tyndale library. To do so, try the following steps:
  1. Go to  the Tyndale library website:
    www.tyndale.ca/library 
  2. Click on the word "Catalogue" on the left hand side
  3. Enter your topic (i.e. "Instructional Strategies") in the search box 
  4. Sort by 'Library' to bring up Tyndale holdings first, or click on Tyndale University to do the same thing.

You can also refine your search by narrowing it down to one of the following:

  • Format
  • Content Type
  • Publication Year
  • Author/Creator
  • Subject
  • Databases
  • Language and Audience

Locating the book

When you locate an item using WorldCat please make note of the following details that will help you find the item:

  • Library call number
  • Location (i.e. Main Library; ABBA Resource Centre; etc.)
  • Availability ("available" or "not available")

If you still cannot locate the resource you may:

  • Ask for help at the Circulation Desk
  • Apply for an Interlibrary loan
  • Locate the book at another library

E-Books
