Advanced Search
WorldCat contains are large number of resources. You can search the content of other specific databases Tyndale subscribes to by clicking the Add and Remove Databases button on the Advanced Search page.
One caution when using the feature is that while you can search author and title you can usually search more fields by searching a database individually, as all search fields may not be searched by WorldCat. On the positive side WorldCat does open a world of information all through one portal!
You can search individual databases by clicking the Online Resources tab in the Library Web page.
The Advanced Search screen can be used to conduct more targeted searches in WorldCat local. To retrieve the Advanced Search screen take the following steps:
If you choose not to use any of the limiters, the Tyndale WorldCat will use the basic keyword search (see Basic Search) to locate items in the Tyndale Library collections.
Now that we've explored the Basic Search and the Advanced Search let's take a look at the Command Line Search features. The Command Line Search feature allows you to conduct specific and targeted searches from any one of the Tyndale WorldCat screens.
